In memory of our crazy, wonderful and beloved little black princess
Kitana was an incredibly friendly dog who loved everyone and everything. She worked great with other dogs and loved people, people she knew as well as strangers. She had a typical aussie "shaking body" when she was happy, she shaked her whole body as she wagged her tail! She liked to cuddle and was more than happy to lay on the sofa or the bed and cuddle. She had, despite her illness, a lot of energy and we used to joke and say that she was a terrier born in an aussie body since she had a lot of the speed, tenacity and rigor as a terrier usually have.
Kitana was the autumn of 2015 diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory bowel disease). Despite our best efforts with medication, good nutrition etc Kitana never became stable enough to live a dignified dog life. She had relapse after relapse and was in pain, so 2016-01-25 she was put to sleep. She is now in dog heaven, where no pain exists ♥
