The name Chaspades is our registered kennel name and the name is a mix of the names of our two first aussies, Charlie and Spader.

We have 10 dogs at the moment who in one way or another is a part of Chaspades Australian Shepherds. It's Spader, Lego, Duplo, Canon, Candy, Piper, Nikon, Thea, Triton and Haylie and you can find more information about them on their pages. If you have any questions feel free to contact us!

The person behind Chaspades Australian Shepherds is me, Elin Landén. I live together with my boyfriend, who is also involved in the kennel, and our children Vera and Noah in a village called Östberg in Sweden. My mother Anna-Karin, my sister Kajsa and my aunt Kristina is also involved in the kennel. I have always had a keen interest in animals and has during my childhood had various animals. We have had dogs in the family since before I was born, so dogs have always been in my life. I got my first aussie in June 2012, Charlie ♥

Charlie made me fall in love with the breed Australian Shepherd. They are such incredibly beautiful dogs and also so smart with a lot of energy. They have the kind of personality that makes your heart melt and they are so wise and understands you almost better than other people do. My aussies are my best friends and if you have a bad day they will immediately brighten it!

I am currently on maternity leave so I spend almost the entire day with the dogs. They have free access to our big farm and the nearby forest and field. They follow us wherever we go, we train obedience, rally obedience and agility, practice tracking, go walking or just relax. In the winter we also go cross country skiing so the dogs can run and practice pulling, like sled dogs!

We own a big house with a big yard in Östberg where we have three spacious kennels where the dogs are when we aren't at home. The dogs love it in the kennels because it's always nice and cool there in the summer. In one of the kennels the dogs have the opportunity to walk into our storage house where we have a heated dog room and in the other two kennels they have the opportunity to walk into an isolated dog cottage, so the dogs can be in kennels in the winter too. Much better than being inside the house during the time mommy and daddy isn't at home, the dogs think! We also have a large forest next to our house and fields where the dogs can run loose. When we are at home, the dogs are either inside the house with us or loose in the yard and at night they sleep inside. Our aussies are a part of the family, not kennel dogs.
